IMPACT-team
The employees on the IMPACT team are professional trainers and coaches whose success is down to their ability to challenge or help their trainees or coachees to improve their skills using a combination of enthusiasm, humour and expert knowledge.
Trainer - Consultant
Stijn Vandenberk
After his Master studies in Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences (University of Ghent), Stijn Vandenberk went to work as a Personnel Officer in an office furniture company. After his military service, he was hired as a Consultant/ Trainer at a consulting firm. In 1991, together with some colleagues, he decided to found IMPACT nv, where he has been working as Managing Director ever since. Apart from numerous refresher courses, he is also accredited for EQi, LIFO, PFPI, TD12 and Realdrives.

Alex Van Vlerken
Alex Van Vlerken, after an economic education (Graduate Certificate in Accounting and Master in Accountancy), immediately started training adults in the then centers for mid-level training, now SYNTRA. Since 1992 he has worked for IMPACT where the emphasis - through train-the-trainer programs - soon shifted to skills training. Within IMPACT he mainly gives management training, training on leadership and personal effectiveness in Dutch and English. He worked for a short time as a police inspector with the local police of Zaventem and has since then been associated with the police school of Flemish Brabant as a guest lecturer. He is an enthusiastic motorcyclist and worked as a motorcycle instructor at driving school Mercator in Rotselaar. He is accredited as an Insights Discovery Practitioner and speaks Esperanto.

Chima Mediouni
Chima Mediouni graduated in 2011 from the Katholieke Hogeschool van Leuven in Business Management. After 2 years of experience in the training sector, she joined IMPACT in August 2013. She is in charge of the general administration, takes care of the contacts between the Trainer Consultant, Coaches and the clients and provides the necessary didactic material for the assignments. She also handles the assessments and development centers together with the Consultants. In short, she provides central coordination and is the point of contact within IMPACT.

Mieke Casier
Mieke Casier holds a degree in Occupational and Organizational Psychology from KU Leuven. She started her career at Inbev for Corporate Marketing Research and then External Relations. At the end of 1997, for IMPACT, she trained groups and individuals from various backgrounds and educational levels to develop their social and management skills. She advises HR departments on structure and policies and their impact on employees. Since 2006 she has certified as a professional coach and coaches managers, executives and employees in their personal and professional evolution and well-being, where do their strengths lie and how can they be better highlighted. She took courses at Vlerick Business School, The Coaching Square, OPP, Pearson and PEN Psychodiagnostics. In her spare time, she is active with Plan International. In addition, she obtained her accreditation for the EQi, PFPI, TD12.
Trainer - Consultant - Coach
Miek Hoogsteyns
Miek immediately entered the corporate world after her training in Speech Therapy in Ghent. After an initial brief experience at the Dutch company OCE, she moved on to the American company Kellogg's where she spent the next 17 years immersed in Marketing. In the position of Group Brand Manager Benelux she gained extensive experience in people management and coaching in addition to marketing and shifted her interest from developing brands to developing people. From that interest and the passion to pass on knowledge and experience, the step to training, coaching and consulting was a logical new challenge in her career. Guiding people in their growth starting from their own qualities and values, without judgement, is paramount for Miek. She works in Dutch, French and English.

Koen Van Holderbeke
Koen Van Holderbeke graduated as an Occupational and Organizational Psychologist from KULeuven. In the first years of his career, he developed and implemented various HR tools and systems for Philips Belgium. He then became HR Business Partner of the R&D department of Philips in Leuven. In a next career step, as HR Director for the Remote Control division, he became responsible for the HR policy in, among others, the sites in Leuven, Portugal, Mexico, Singapore and China. After a career at Philips, he became Global HR Director at Denon & Marantz Global OEM and then Premium Sound Solutions.Koen joined IMPACT in 2020 where his main focus is on various HR consulting projects & guidance projects, Management Training and coaching. In his spare time you can regularly find Koen in the region around Barcelona discovering local design, culture and culinary specialties.

Els Ory
The interest in communication, dealing with people and languages was soon evident in the choice of study: licentiate Interpreter, Dutch-French-Spanish. After four years in an international telemarketing and telesales environment (telesales coach and program manager) she moved to a production environment in the automotive sector. When even there 'training' somehow always ended up in her 'box', it became clear that IMPACT was the right choice. Since late 2003, Els has been putting her business experience at the service of participants and enthusiastically delivering a range of skills training courses in personal development, sales and leadership/management skills. Trainings can be given by Els in Dutch, French or English.

Ken Pieters
Ken Pieters graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ghent as a Master of Communication Studies in 2011. He also coupled that with an aggregate and followed the specific teacher training program. Since 2012, he has been working as a communication trainer at IMPACT. He focuses on everything related to communication, leadership and personal development. In addition to being a trainer, Ken is also a journalist for the West Flemish television channels Focus & WTV. Previously, he worked as a freelance reporter for 'Het Laatste Nieuws' and 'Radio 2'. In his spare time, he is an avid sportsman.

Yana Vanderrijst
Yana graduated as an Occupational and Organizational Psychologist from UGent. From there, she took up numerous positions within the HR department at ING. Since 2017, as an HR consultant, she has been providing support to companies that have a temporary HR need. This can range from a replacement or providing support on a project basis. Since 2019, Yana has further professionalized her expertise in training and is insights discovery certified and lencioni team coach. Both tools are used by Yana to help teams grow in communication, leadership and collaboration. But besides this busy job, Yana finds enough time to spend with her family, a loving husband and 2 treasures of children.

Veronique Hofman
As an HR Expert, Veronique Hofman brings 25 years of experience in HR project management, HR consulting, employee and management coaching, national and international recruitment, learning & talent development, performance management, in short everything soft HR. Her expertise spans various sectors, including manufacturing, automotive, metal, logistics, services, sales, energy and the staffing sector. She is fluent in 3 languages (NL-FR-ENG). You can engage Veronique as an HR Freelancer for various HR related services: HR Interim Management, HR Project Management and HR Consultancy. Veronique is also a certified mediator. As a mediator, you can engage her in labor disputes. In her spare time you can find her swimming in the pool or hiking in nature. She also enjoys traveling with or without her daughter.

Shirley Willems
Shirley Willems received her degree in business psychology from UGent in 2017. Her HR adventure began at leading companies such as Barco, UNILIN and LVD, where she honed her skills. A passionate HR professional, she joined mtech+ as a training & labor market consultant. Through many company visits and exciting HR projects she awakened her entrepreneurial spirit and the fire for HR. Since January 2024, she started working completely independently as an HR consultant and coach. Shirley wants to fuel the fire in other professionals by stimulating the growth mindset. On the one hand as an HR consultant where she advises and guides companies in the onboarding, training and development and retention of their employees. On the other as a coach for entrepreneurs (to be) who are looking for direction on both a professional and personal level. Besides her passion for HR, sports is on top of Shirley's priority list. A healthy mind in a healthy body. If you can't reach her, she's probably working out with her personal trainer or going for a run. Of course, that also leaves some time for her two adorable daughters. Shirley has been part of the IMPACT team since 2024 as an HR consultant and coach for various projects.

Twiggy Peeters
Twiggy Peeters, an energy coach for people and organization, brings her expertise and passion together to guide people and companies towards a healthy energy-stress balance and realizing their full potential throughout different life phases and change processes. With a background in occupational psychology (KUL) and more than 20 years of experience in HR, as a certified coach she specializes in guiding driven professionals, executives and entrepreneurs struggling with balancing their many responsibilities. Twiggy's love of writing, she authored the book "leading without suffering, a practical guide to energetic management, sports and travel reflects her multifaceted interests and her need for growth and discovery. A yoga enthusiast, hiking enthusiast and 5K runner, she strives to maintain her own energy and vitality, which allows her to inspire others to do the same. With her podcast ENERGY, Twiggy provides a source of inspiration and support for those striving to live a fulfilled and energetic life, both at work and beyond. In addition to her role as both an entrepreneur and coach at IMPACT since January '24, Twiggy is also a devoted mother of two adolescent daughters.
